Winchester rifle stock

I am wanting a used win stock for post 64 model 70 long action with out mag release,where can I find and what is cost Thank Chuck

  I asked a similar question a while back thought I would re-submit with a different emphasis. Does anyone know if Winchester produces their own Rifle Stocks or are they built under contract by a subcontractor? Particularly their Laminated Win M70 stocks.

  I have no idea, but do have this suggestion... why not call Winchester and ask them this question (they do have an 800 number)?
  
  Back in the old days (man do I ever hate having to say that... it makes me think about how old I am getting to be[:(]), Winchester made all of their own stocks. What they are doing today... who knows, but my guess is that at least some of the work is subcontracted. Please let us know what you find.
