Bersa Thunder
How dependable is this gun? Is it worth the price or would it be wise to throw some more cash and upgrade to something else?

Hi All.
Can anyone give an opinion on the Bersa 380 Thunder. The price of this gun is lower than most. Are they reliable?
Thanks.1 -
Although I know that many will disagree with me, I would give the Bersa Thunder a very high rating. I picked one up as a plinker and "truck gun" that I wouldn't have to worry about as an investment piece. Although I sold it, it was one of the best functioning firearms I have ever owned--not a single FTF or FTE no matter what kind of ammo I tried to put through it. They make a 10 round magazine with a finger extension on it and with that added, it became one of my most comfortable firearms to shoot as well. It was about as accurate as I could have hoped for in a small pistol.
I have heard many complain that the internals/materials are cheap but I never had a problem. It even out shot and out performed my Walther. Only personal experience, but I think its one of the best little pistols for the money.0 -

Got one myself. Love it. Buy it and you won't be sorry. 0 -
Im not much of a .380 fan but,Eagle grips is the importer of the Bersa's and stand behind the guns.A friend bought one and it shot poorly,he contacted Eagle and made arrangements to send the gun back. They replaced the barrel at no charge and he had his gun back in a couple weeks with a 25 ft test target from the factory. He's had no trouble since.
Best!!

I have used a Bersa .380 Thunder for years, and it is a real good carry/shooter. Never a misfire. Just bought the new Bersa Ultra Thin in .45. It is also a good carry/shooter. I personally recommend Bersa based on my usage experience.

I've owned the thunder bersa .380 for a few months and I've only shot about 9 rounds from it.. I am wanting to sell it but am not quite sure how to go about doing so. Is there anyone who will be willing to assist me to make the sale. Thank you
