Anyone know ....
where I can find 4mm (M20) rimfire ammo?
While redoing things in my gun room I ran across a piece I hadn't thought of in quite a while. It's a German (Erma) reproduction of a Smith Model 36, but it fires the itty bitty 4mm round.
I tried Midway, Cheaper Than Dirt and other sites that turned up from an internet search, but I only found one place and they want $1.00 per round ...
I then tried to contact Dynamit Nobel and they auto forwarded my email to a US "rep" who will not respond to my email (probably because he dosen't sense a "truck load" sale here.
And I tried a post in the WTB forum that drew no response so I thought I would try this forum because it appears to be more widly followed.
I have about 20 rounds left, but I don't want to use them up w/o locating a source for the ammo.
Appreciate any help you can give me.

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!

im studying the flobert parlor guns and have studied the 4mm round very closely. like you, im at a dead end trying to get them. maybe if you hang out in 'parlor guns' forums, you might strike gold. they were a popular round for indoor german pub shoots during winter nights. unlike you, ive yet to own even one. i would be honored if you wanted to spare one of those babies![8D] email me and i'll start looking at my sources.
