What do you need to do a trigger job for? and what do you mean by a "trigger job"? the single set are fully adjustable, and are pretty darn good right out of the box. Mine was set for 2.5# and 6 ounces set. The owners manual details the whole job, but if you go any lighter you might risk setting off the rifle when you really don't want to.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess, but getting a trigger down below 6oz. is not my idea of safety. At my age, I can't feel 6oz. much less be safe with it. Richburg is giving you good advice. If you do decide to lower the set trigger weight, make sure you check it out after your work by using the old "slam the butt against the ground test--making sure there is nothing in the chamber and the action cocked first. If it clicks , put more weight on the trigger and try it again. Its your rifle and I'm not trying to tell you what to do--just an old man who has had fun shooting all his life and wants the same for you. Good Luck 0
