I have a Firestorm Mini in Nickel, 40 S&W double stack. I can't wait to pick it up. A FFL carried one regularly.

There was a similar larger version with 15 rounds. When the LAW made 10 the limit, they shortened the mag, and closed up the proportions of the gun to match.

It's a compact little unit, and from what I hear, very reliable. I saw a LNIB model for $250 in a local shop, and decided to purchase within seconds...both me and the counterman didn't know it came in 40S&W. My model is a few years old, before extra safety modifications were mandated. I LOVE those pre-mandation guns!

"Firestorm" is a trade name used by a American importer located in New Jersey.

They import firearms from Argentina that were formally sold under the Bersa name and from Spain that were sold as Llamas.

Depending on the Firestorm handgun your interested in, I would imagine nothing has changed, quality wise from the original except the name stamped on the slide.

Chances are it's a Llama. My 2 cents is that you will be better served by saving your money till you can afford to buy a American made .38 Super.

I have carried a Firestorm .380 off-and-on for years. Always performed, never a misfire no matter what bullet. I also have a Bersa .380 and the new ultra .45. Same story. No problems.
