buckmark barrel advice thread
a while back i ran into a barrel adapter for the browning buckmark on the internet that would essentially thread the end of the barrel. it appeard to slip over and lock up against the front sight post. i thought this was pretty cool but have been unable to locate anything like it again. Has anyone seen this? My actual question, however, surrounds threading the end of my buckmark standard 5.5 in. i have seen the drop in barrel conversions for the mark ii's and i was wondering if any similar 'kits' were made for the buckmark. I am really hoping to avoid the cost and hassle of having the tip of the barrel machined. On another note, i dont suppose anyone has found any nice replacement grips (the ergonomic style) for the buckmark. i love this little plinker but sometimes looking for aftermarket parts for it is an exercise in futility. anyhow, it's good to be back to the forums. take 'er easy y'all.
