BSA scopes
I'm looking to get a scope for my 7MM Mag. BSA has some really cheap scopes and that usually means cheap quality as well. Anybody know anything about their scopes?

Are BSA scopes any good? Particularly the handgun types. Trying to stay affordable for a milsurp scout rifle application.
Thanks, JCS440 -
They are not to bad, I have two of them for plinking. The one I have on my .17 HMR works well. [:)]

I have a BSA cats-eye scope on my NEF-45-70 and my Gibbs 303 and i will say I like them better then my zeiss conquest scope. They are very well made and can take the recoil of almost any rifle. 0 -
They are a good value scope.
I like the two that I have. One has to be close to 10 years old by now and it is still as clear as the day I took it out of the box.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
the best test for a scope is to put it on a magnum air rifle like and r.w.s. the spring piston will break the cross hairs out of the cheaper brand scopes yes bsa is one of them but they work OK! will rifles.

I used mine to put a bullet in every other scope I had. this is not a joke!! I shot both leopolds and 1 tasco I had.[:D] the bsa scopes I use are on small cal guns however. 6MM REM 25-06 .223 17HMR 22-250
In the past I had them on guns like 30-06 308 Now they are the only scope I will buy.[:0]0 -
Would the owners of these BSA scopes kindly tell me where they are made.
Surely not England at the price they are asking.

I had my BSA Catseye on my Serbu BFG50, 50BMG, for 120 rounds.
I held up well--no problems. If it holds up with a 50BMG round,
they (BSA) must be doing something right.
