winchester 52 pre A 1929 production date
Thinking of getting this gun metal I would grade as completely new. The wood has some ring finger and handling marks $700 would you buy it if you loved the old 22lr to teach the kids?

700$ sounds a little bit pricey to me but i am by far no expert. if ya like the rifle go for it man, the good ol Win 52 will not let you down.
i have an early production run Win 52 (has the ladder peep sight and militry grooved stock) and is still quite accurate and a sharp looking piece i abolutely love the thing and am going to get a unertl scope for it when i can afford to.
