Rebarrel/chamber a Remington model 7

I dug out a Remington model 7 in 308 winchester and was considering rebarreling it to 358 winchester, whats involved?

Just rebarrel to the 358 caliber.

Everything is the same except the bore size. Magazine,etc.is all the same. Just rebarrel it.If the barrel taper was a little thicker you could even have that barrel rebored to 358 but I don't there is enough metal in the Model 7 barrel to do that.........[8D]

Other than a new tube, the only other thing that "might" have to be done is to open up the barrel channel in the stock (if the profile of the new barrel is diferent than the origional)

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
