INGLIS BROWNING HIGH POWER ; WW2 CANADIAN?
Hello folks, please help me with this bit,
Just got a very clean INGLIS, as in almost new. It has 98% of what looks like the WW2 parkerizing on the U.S M1911A1s.
NO import marks, chinese characters or anything like that. It has the usual INGLIS legend on the bottom edghe of the left of the slide, and the MkI* mark on the side, no No2.
The seller told me it was a late war WW2 Canadian INGLIS. It IS very nice, but was missing its lanyard ring and had HOGUE grips on it, both items which I'm gonna put back to original.
Can you tell me if it is indeed a WW2 Canadian army HIGH POWER?
Thanks a lot.

My records show that from 0T1 thru 10T9999 would be the Canadian Mark 2. Do a goggle search on Browning Hi Power and you will get alot more information.
