7.62 conversion of AR-15

Any experiences with DPMS Upper Assembly for the 7.62x39mm cartridge converion of AR-15. I have pre-ban HBAR Colt AR-15 and was thinking about trying one of these conversions.

  I have a Colt upper not DPMS, they work great. The hard part is finding a reliable hi-cap magazine for them. Most of the aftermarket mags are junk. If the assault weapons ban sets good magazines should become available.
