Value - Dreyse 7.65 with Capture papers
Hello All, I am at a complete loss on this one. I have a Dreyse 7.65mm in excellent condition. It has the original holster and it has capture papers. I don't know how much more value would be added to this gun with the extras. What do you think? Thanks Susan

Susan,
The basic 1907 fetches between $150 and $225 at most shows. The holster would have to be examinined on it's own merits first. You didn't say if any markings were present, and without any, you would be wise to keep them together.
The capture papers do add a whole new face to the rig, especially if the holster is mentioned on them.
The pistol is fairly common in itself, but as a complete unit, I would estimate between $285 and $400. That is a wide margin, but more particulars would have to be known, especially if the holster is marked. Another point I almost forgot; If it is Imperially marked. Look for a Fraktur (Gothic style) marking around the rear sight, on the front gripstrap, or really almost place. This would add 20% or so (not to be confused with normal proof marks).0
