G/day all, wondering if u can help?. i,ve got a winchester here that i inherited and am trying to get any idea on what i should insure it for. i can,t get it to a big dealer as we live in the bush,also i haven,t got a license. it,s a model 1892 saddle ring carbine in 32/20 cal, has flip up ladder type rear sight, blade front with a metal guard? that pulls back and twists down out of the way, short (button?) magazine,stops at end of wood,all metal is more brownish than blue but not pitted or scared, barrel 20in is very good inside with nice sharp rifling,action works perfect and is nice and tight,all wood is very good with no bruises,splits or whatever and stock and foreend nice tight fit to metal parts, oh, also has cresent butt plate. S/N 927564. advise much appreciated, regards dick waugh.
