best .40 ammo
I have two Glock .40's, models 22 and 27...the model 27 is a part-time ccw....I'm interested in the best round for these guns for personal/home protection...suggestions please...If I ever had to result to deadly force I'm afraid the dead individual's family will sue me and their lawyer will have a field day because their dearly departed was shot with Black Talon's, etc...

Never use reloads or hand loads. Glasser Safty rounds will fit the bill nicely. They cost. Practice with PMC and use Glasser for self protection. My 2 cents [8D]

Super good advice from above ... stick with a name brand such as Glaser, MagSafe, or HydraShock or even Gold Dot don't use anything that has names like (Destroyer) or descriptions such as (Explosive Bullet) as this can be turned around to come back at you.
Aguilla IQ is even a good middle of the road/cost PD round.
Once of the safest bets has already been covered above ... try and use what LE in your area uses unless the rounds are restricted to LE only.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
Speer sells 250 count boxes of hollow point for LE target practice. You can practice with what you load for defense. A box runs $45-$60. 0
