90% of all 11-87 feed problems are the trigger group.

Ok how does the trigger group allow 2 shells to come out of the tube and how do I fix it?

BULLSKI IS JUST AT "IT "AGAIN. THE PROBLEM IS IN THE "KEEPER" SPRINGS ON THE END OF THE MAG TUBE. NEED TO "SPRING' THEM CLOSED TOGETHER. HAPPENS ON MOST REMINGTONS.

pleae curb your tongue duckhunter....answer properly and with merit and leave out the profanity. if you want to disagree, disagree and prove yourself. otherwise, all you do is answer a poster and you are left looking imature. YOU are the only one on this board who seems to have a pastime of discrediting me whenever the chance comes up. back off. pardon us gogolen.....d hunter only wishes he was me. all he has is his ducks, and they arent even in a row. take his advice but please ignore his profanity. he's probably drunk. we try to keep it professional, but sometimes this happens. i apologize in advance for him, and myself. as not to engage him in a i told you so thread, email me if you want and we can talk about that trigger group 'assy'. he does have a good point about springs, but without more input from you, we the experts must start somewhere. i say trigger, he says springs. gotta start somewhere and we did. now if bird shooter wants to continue more in depth, maybe we all can learn something. it boils down to trial and error. 0 -
Well when I fire the shot gun it extracts the shell from the chamber and ejects it like normal however when it goes to feed the next round 2 are released from the tube the first one goes up but the bolt catches on the second one which is caught up between the shell headed for the chamber and the (I have no idea what you call it) floor plate/feed ramp/load cover. I really like this shotgun but every other time I shoot it, it does this and it is really starting to iritate me. I hope this makes my situation a little more clear. I do apreciate the advice and have really enjoyed being a member here thus far thank you in advance for the help.

there is a thin piece of metal inserted into the side of the frame inside the receiver port. it releases and holds shells in turn. it may be broken or bent. it works in conjunction with the timing of the action. meaning, the bolt, the rail, and the shell feed ramp. all items are in time with the trigger assy that houses the feed ramp. if you take out your trigger group youll see the whole shabang comes out, right? look on the sides of the trigger group and you will see grooves where the rail operates by parts of that group. most time, the rail itself is defective. sometimes, something back in the trigger group is worn out. the problem may be in that area. its a simple fix, but hard to talk you thru on. maybe someone here can get the gist of where im going on this. again ,this is just one way to go. others may direct you elsewhere. 0
