Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works. Probably a 'Sealed 8' not 'Sealed 6.' In that condition, less than $100.

Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works manufactured firearms in Fitchburg, MA from the 1890's to the 1970's.

Some of their .22 Cal. revolvers were marketed with the name "SEALED" . This refered to their counterbored cylinders, which completely enclosed the head & rim of the .22 cartridge.

In my references, I can't find a Iver Johnson revolver named "Target Sealed 6", you might have a rare one there?

    rusty1,
athe iver johnaon's arms & cycle works target sealed 8 was manufactured between 1932 and 1954. if it has an octagon barrel it is preworld war II production !932-1941) and if it has a round barrel it is post war production (1946-1954). the target sealed 8 uses a seperate single action sear and usually when they want cock single action it is because of a broken or missing single action sear spring.

I have a one of the target sealed 8 models that my grandpa let me dig out of his attic. It's both single and double action. I have seen a couple on GB auctions. One thing I know is that even with that long barrel mine won't hit the broad side of a barn.
