S&W 18-2 info
Can anybody tell me exactly what the "-2" represents on my S&W 18-2? I inherited it from my grandfather that passed away last April. It's in great shape. It's still in the factory cardboard (blue) box with the metal corners.

I'm clear, you're clear, everybody's clear...SHOCK!!!

Not much else to say about the -2 as Ron's covered that. The "-" is merely an engineering change and there can be one change or several under a given "-" number. And you'll need a reference book like the Std. Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 1st or 2nd edition to figure things out.
You've got a nice revolver there enjoy it!
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
