Remington 700 Police

Hi, I want to bid on a Rem. 700 Police here on Gun Broker but I am not in law enforcement the seller says these can be owned by anyone. Can anyone tell me if I'll have a problem on the transfer? Thanks Ray.

  Absolutely no problem, anyone who can legally own a firearm may legally own ANY bolt action rilfe.

  The "Police" part is just a name. You also do not need to be a "Police" to own a Colt Official Police, a "Detective" to own a Colt Detective Special, a "Chief" to own a Smith & Wesson Chiefs Special or a "Bodyguard" to own a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard, etc..
