Glock model 22
I was wondering if there is a difference between a glock 22 chambered in a 40 SW and a Glock 22 chambered in a 40 Cal.?
I have seen them advertised both ways.

What is a Glock model 22, with 3, 10 round and 3, high capactiy mags worth. The gun has about 1000 round through it. It also has night sights. Thanks 0 -
Do a search on Gunbroker and see what they are selling for.

Hi and Welcome!
Prices vary around the country, but, GB and other sites are good places to get a feel for the market.
At approx. 1000 rounds the pistol is barely broke in. On the basis that you get 2 10 rnd. mags. with a new pistol purchase (this is changing starting to see more only coming w/ one mag) your 3rd 10 rnd. will be $30-40. High caps., if they are factory, drop free, can go for $80-100+. The night sights, depending on type, add another $50-100 in value.
So from the above you can see where a base pistol selling for $600-650 can run up to $1,000 or better, but in the general market, even with only a 1,000 rnds. through it the pistol is still used and it is not unusual to see them with the goodies mentioned at around $800 +/-.
Hope this helps you.

sell your gun with the 3 -- 10 round mags and then sell the 3 high caps by them self , you will get more money that way ,, about 6 months ago i sold my model 22 with one 10 mag for $400 it also had night sights , gun was a ist gen. and the sights where getting a little weak but overall was in very good shape , i sold my 2 high caps later I think for $65 each, hope thiis helps and good luck 0 -
As I said in my original post, the market varries across the country.
Good suggestion about seperating the high caps from the 10 rnd. that makes the pistol more price attractive.
I know if you lived in Ohio and offered to sell me the whole setup, in the condition described, for $500 I'd have them bills counted out faster than you can blink.
Blue book (23rd edition) on the pistol is $425 at 98% and I consider those prices as %20-25 low in my area, depending on the popularty of the firearm. The whole game is knowing your market so research it before you let the stuff go.
You can run the high caps right here on GB and if you use a basic listing it won't cost you a thing unless you sell 'em. List them at $70 with no reserve and see what happens ... you can always lower a price, but it is very difficult to raise on! I'd suggest the same with at least one of your 10 rnd. mags. and start it at $30.
Pistol is another matter ... you don't have to be an FFL to sell it, but if you decide to use an FFL as a transfer agent you have to figure that cost into your selling price and that can run as much as $30+ Lastly is shipping if you sell as pvt. party to a receiving FFL agent your looking at $30-35 maybe more from Fedex or UPS and many prospective buyers will balk at paying that much shipping, so it is best to cover part in your sale price and the balance as a fixed shipping cost.
