Spotting Scopes
What are the recommendations regarding good spotting scopes? Price range can be between $150 and $250; or less if there are good scopes available.
It must be right, or we wouldn't do it this way!

What is the best spotting scope to buy in the $200-$300 range?????? 0 -
I had a nice bushnell 50x that was around 200 or 250 I think, but it got run over..sad huh...
I picked up a cheap winchester spotter off GB from a place in Florida a while back. It is a pretty nice package for the price.
If ya want I can try to look up the info, let me know. I'm not positive I still have it

I have a nice Redfield 15-60X that is very clear and focuses at just about any range and any power.I bought it used and I would recommend buying a used one to save money if you're thrifty.Bausch and Lomb makes a nice one also without getting into the pricey ones.Happy hunting,Bob. 0 -
I've got a Bausch & Lomb 15-45X, 50mm that I just wouldn't be without. It's worked flawlessly on Sheep and Goat backcountry hunts and ridden in the truck 10,000 miles or more and still works perfect at the range for spotting the little holes. I can't remember what I paid but it's been worth every penny. 0 -
Thanks for the recommendations. Will start looking around this week.[8D]

In your price range it is hard to beat the Bushnell Spacemaster. Take a look at www.bearbasin.com or www.eagleoptics.com for decent prices. Both are reliable companies.
