S & W ,40 CS-40
I have an oppunity to pick up a S & W CS-40 stainless in the original box with all the papers, they are asking $600, does this sound like a good price? has only fired 200 rounds thru it, owner changed his mind and wants something else. This weapon looks as good as new I would say 99% if not 100%
Need answer ASAP I saw this in gun magazine and it sells for $712.new

I would say thats way to high. The most I have seen them so far is $499.00 and most used were around $450.00,I think he wants alittle to much.$600.00 is almost new HK money. 0 -
I agree with trusta45 on this. I bought a LNIB stainless CS45 a few months back for $400. I will say this though...they are nice guns! Have put about 1000 rounds through mine with no problems at all. Look around, you will find one cheaper. ALSO...S&W has quit making the 40 model for some reason. 0 -
Too high, I picked one up new today, $400. Here in northern
california the normal price for a new one seems to be around $540.
By the way, S&W discontinued this model last year.

CS 40 is or has been discontinued ... no mechanical prob. just was a dog seller ... lowest sales of the 3 chamberings so Smith pulled the plug. Sure you want to go there???
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
