how old is this gun
i have an ithaca mag 10 and would like to know what year this gun was made the serial number is 100013472,i have the book value but not when it was made,can u help me with this?

I am sure people know more about this than me. If you want to know how old a gun is you may have to buy the book for that manufacturer and get an approximate age. See "The Winchester Book" by Madis. I am guessing there are some internet sites out there as well.
The value? What the market will bear. I usually check the auction sites (this being my favorite) and also gun shows.

do a title search for 'the gun traders guide.' or, 'blue book of gun values.' the gun traders guide has pictures. blue book doesnt.
