thinking about a 44mag lever...any info comparing this to winchester or marlin considering top end saami reloads......thanks

  I have one a in 45 lc it's alot of fun to shoot, no melfunctions to speak of. For the money you pay for them its a good buy.[:)]

  if you are planning on mounting a scope or reddot on it then go with the Marlin , because they have the solid receiver top, as far as handeling hot loads any of them should do ok but again I would think the Marlin would be a little stronger , I've had all 3 , winchester comes in at the bottom , then Rossi , with Marlin being #1
  if you can look for a older one that was made before they started putting them safeties on
