Canadian Centennial Rifle
I have recently purchased a 1867 to 1967 Canadian 100 year Centennial Rifle. It was purchased new in 1968 by my father-in law who shot it 3 times in 1968 and put it up. It is a 30-30 caliber lever action with golden engraved 100 years Centennial celebration on it brand new, no marks or scratches. I was wondering how much is it worth?

Hello Charles...
Unfortunately, it is not nearly as collectable as it once was (shooting a Commemorative Model 94 is highly frowned upon by those who collect them). As it stands now, it is not much different than a brand new basic Model 94. You would doing real well if you can get $350 for it.

Drywall,
I just traded mine. I had it in great condition, never fired, the only owner, and bought it new expecting it to increase in price. That was a bad idea.
Mine traded for $410 - even trade for a new Savage 10FP. You can expect to get about $350-$425 for it - or to put it another way, the price of a new one right now. Since yours was fired, expect low end.

Once you have fired one of these Commem's you might as well keep it and use it as a shooter...you will almost always have the prettiest rifle at deer camp.

I see you're in North Carolina. I hope that wasn't your father-in-law's estate auction in Summerville, SC this past weekend--or more specifically, I hope if you bought one of the Canandian Centennial Winchester 94's that you wanted it for sentimental reasons only. They were going for around $700! Chalk another one up to the craziness of auctions. (The prices quoted above are the "more reasonable" approximations of value for your rifle.)0 -
It is unfornunate, but Winchester overwhelmed the Commerative market by issuing a firearm for every event known to man.By doing so, none are really very special.
Love them Pre-64's!!!!-Bob0
