Westernfield Deluxe Model 50 12 ga. pump
Who manufactured this firearm for Montgomery Ward and what make/model should I use to get parts for the Westernfield shotgun?I guess what is needed is a cross-over name/model,schematic and parts list. Can anyone help? Thanks so much a response.

Unfortunately, there have been a couple of different Western Field marked firearms bearing a Model 50 designation. The one most often listed by the cross-reference lists is the Marlin/Glenfield Model 60 which is a .22 semiauto rifle and therefore not your gun.
However, there was an earlier Model 50 Western Field which is actually a version of the Savage/Stevens 620 12ga pump shotgun. The picture is below (Western Field Model 50 is second from top). If this is not it, your gun may be a Noble product. Either way, we have quite a few parts.
Later guns bearing Western Field model numbers beginning with 50 (three digit) were actually Mossberg 500 shotguns.

The 2nd gun from the top in your picture looks just like my Westernfield Mod.50 or is it a Savage/Stevens 620? Anyhow,I'm missing the screw in the middle and at the top of the receiver, highly visible in the photo. What is it called? The Westernfield doesn't want to extract the shell when pumped and that is the only part I can see that is missing. Would that screw be instrumental in operating the shell extraction? Do you have the screw for sale?Appreciate any thoughts as to whether the missing screw could be my problem with extraction. Thanks so much for your interest.

Well, there is extraction and there is ejection. I suspect from the part you are missing that the gun is extracting the shell from the chamber but not throwing it clear of the gun. With the bolt open, look into the ejection port. I am betting you are missing your ejector, and you should see the empty mortise where the ejector should be.
Unfortunately, I do not have that part for the 620. I have them for the Stevens 520 (earlier version) but they do not interchange.0
