Why S&W discontinued the CS-40?

Does anyone know why Smith & Wesson discontinued this peticular chambering but kept the other 2 in production?Was this round problematic in this design?Thanks.

  Of the 3 chamberings it had the lowest sales. Simple "if it ain't sellin', quit building it" business decision.
