QUESTION ON BROWNING BAR AUTO HOW DO YOU GET BOLT TO STAY OPEN . I THOUGHT THEY HAD A BUTTON YOU PUSH TO MAKE BOLT CLOSE . THERE IS NO BUTTON AN ITS A BELGIUM MADE . IT WILL STAY OPEN IF YOU PUSH THE SPRING IN SIDE BOLT DOWN . OR MAGIZINE DOWN . IS THAT RIGHT

    It has to have the clip/magazine in it or it won't stay open.The top of the shell carrier will hold the bolt open when magazine is empty. ---To close the bolt when empty,Pull back slightly on bolt,Push magazine release button and drop magazine down far enough for bolt to slide over it then push clip back up in place.To feed ammo ,load dropped magazine and push up in place.Then pull bolt back and let go forward to chamber a round...........Good Luck....[8D].
