8x57 pressures
I have a lot of 93 actions. I know that they are limited in conversion options but wondered if the 8x57 created more presure than the 7x57 in case small ring barrels in that caliber jumped out at me. Feedback greatly appreciated!

As long as you keep presure in the 40,000 CUP range in a s 93 or 95 action you will be fine. 50,000 cup loads create trouble. U.S, standards for the 8x57 are 37,000 in deference to the older actions and the possibility that the ammo might find its way into a .318 bore rifle. There are some turkish small thread 8x57 barrels floating arround out there.

Thanks, I thought this might open the options and have no need for magnum handloads!
