Excellent quality handguns, that were imported during the 80's.

Since they didn't have a high capacity magazine and their locking system was a type of delayed/retarded blowback, that folks were unfamilar with, they weren't nearly as popular as the shotguns made by the same company.

The standard model that was imported was the B-76 in 9mm. Target versions were also imported in small numbers.

Due to them being out of production for years, they would be more of a collectors item now, then anything else. Due to the lack of parts and spare magazines.

There is a Benelli model B82 in 9mm Ultra, which is different than a regular 9mm. Watch the caliber designation when buying a Benelli.

The B76 is one of my favorite 9mm pistols. Top quality, fit and finish with a fixed barrel that adds to the good accuracy. I absolutely love the ergonomics of this pistol, everthing is right where I want it and it is a natural pointing pistol for me. The rather unique locking system (I would love to know what the correct term is) can be a pain to take apart for the fumble fingered (me).
