drop in barrels with compensators
I've seen these ads for pistol barrel that already have a compensator installed and you just have to take out the old barrel and drop in the new one. Anybody have any experience with them? Or what are your opinions of them?

Very few barrels just "drop in" and a lot of these ones that are advertised as drop ins with comps are mainly for looks and will do little for performance. Who makes it? For what gun? How much? Fill in a few more details and we can probably be more informative.

I've shot a drop-in comp'ed barrel on a .40 S&W once, it was fine and truly "dropped in". It was at least as accurate as the factory barrel. I am used to shooting 10mm so I really can't say how much the felt recoil was reduced but it was obviously less recoil than my 10mm... 0 -
I wasn't looking at any specific one in particular. Just curious about the overall opinion of them.
