HELP on finding gun value
I just got some guns from my stepfather and need help to find their value. The first one is a double 410 and has this stamped on it (GEBR.ADAMY.SUHL GERMANY) under the forarm it says (KRUPP-ESSEN) and (FLUSSSTAHL)

Kind of a tough one! Believe it or not, this company was founded in 1921 in Suhl, Germany, and is still in business as Adamy, Gebr. (brothers) Jagdwaffen (hunting weapons), with the family having been known as gunmakers clear back to 1820. They still produce side by side shotguns (among other designs) but the current Blue Book lists no models or values. The first thing you will have to do is ascertain the age of your shotgun, and then try to pin it down to a model. Then contact New England Custom Gun Service, which is listed as the current importer, at 603-469-3450, or also shown, bestguns@cyborportal.net and www.newenglandcustom.com and see if they can help you with more information. The gun may well have been imported before they handled the line, as if it was a recent import it would likely have an import legend stamped on it, but they may be able to point you in another direction.
