I would like your opinions on the Bersa .380 automatic. Good value? Good enough to consider for CCW, i.e. trustworthy? Seems ultra concealable, anyone carry in the pocket with this one?

The time has come (or will in early March when I get some checks for teaching an extra class) to order my Romanian AK-47. Where did you get yours? Satisfied with the deal? How about extra mags? What kind of scope are you putting on the rail?

Have you checked out the Kel-tec .380's? They are among the lightest .380's available. I've shot a Bersa but it's been a while, I don't remember there being any problems with it. The .380 is minimal at best as a defense round, but most of the guns chambered for this cartridge are highly concealable so it's a trade-off.
I'm going to use a Glock 10mm when I can conceal it and a Kel-tec .380 for all other times because it is small and light enough it can go with me always.

Bersa is a good value for the money. Made in Argentina of good steel and lifetime warranty to original purchaser. Most any of the Makarovs (or clones) from E Germany, Russia, Poland or Bulgaria would probably be an even better value for the money though.

Not to sure about the Bersa 380, however I did own a Bersa Thunder Nine, which was a great pistol. Was a real nice shooter!
Concerning the the AK, check out http://www.aimsurplus.com for mags. They have a nice deal on 30rd Polymer Polish, I bought 2 form them. Very nice mags at a great price! Aim had a great deal not too long ago on steel mags but looks like they are out.

Both the Bersa and AK would be excellent addittions to your collection. Sounds like a good plan on both counts.
