Weatherby Athena Firing Pin

I have heard rumors of people having trouble with the firing pins in the weatherby over/unders. Has anyone heard these rumors or have first hand experience with this problem? I am worried. I just purchased a used Athena Grade V in like new condition, and was very excited until I heard this rumor. I am wondering should I keep it or try for something else. It is a beautiful gun...

  i heard it too. then again ive heard 3200's crack stocks. every gun has a quirk and it doesnt happen to all the guns all the time. keep it and enjoy it. make sure you dont dry fire your gun on an empty bbl and youll be ok. use snap caps.
