Was there a plain 'jane' Colt Mustang in the '90s?

    In 1984, the firm Colt got back to the small calibre handguns in .380 ACP, initiated in 1903-08 with the "Hammerless" model. This new range started with a"Government" model then a "Mustang" in 1986, to end in 1988 with the "Mustang Plus II" pictured here. The three models varying in the barrel or handle length. These handguns benefited of a locked breech mechanism, which is quite rare for such a calibre. The price is therefore more important than other pistols with the same characteristics. But the advantage of the locked breech is notable when firing.
