does preban mean it will fire semi and auto?can almost any semi be made too fire auto?is it illegal to own or ship fully auto?thanks too anyone who can shed some light on my dumb q's

  Pre ban pertains to weapons that went on a government ban list. Yes most semi auto guns can be made to fire full auto. This would be aginst the law unless you have a full auto/class 3 receiver and a licence to go with it. With the proper government tax you can purchase a Class 3 or full auto weapon. If you have a Class 3 dealers licences you can ship a class 3 or full auto weapon to another class 3 dealer. I hope this helps.
