Browning Baracuda revolver
Need info about a Browning Baracuda .357 revolver made by FN Pete

Kind of obscure, did find one reference on it.
Don't believe they were ever sold under the Browning name, but F N, only.
They date to the 80's, FN tried to market them to various police and paramilitary organizations, never got off the ground.
Production was terminated in 1989.

I've encountered these revolvers in Europe but have only seen a handfull here in the United States where none were ever imported commercially as far as I know. These Baracudas were intended for police sales and were rather conventional looking except for their squared off trigger gaurd which made a two hand hold (like an automatic) possible. These were top quality pistols but what little interest there was in revolvers for European police use was being handled nicely by Manurhin's M73 line and FNs Baracuda sales were few. There was a handy auxiliary 9mm cylinder available for these Baracudas which used a full moon type clip. I'd like to have an example of the Baracuda, but then I'd like to have one of everything that shoots!
