Finn M-39
Can someone give me some background info on these guns? They have a very good reputation. Some of my shooting buddies have em and I am really impressed with them. Any links?

These are great rifles. The Finns captured lots of Russian M91 Mosin Nagants. The Finns took these rifles apart, and put top quality Finnish barrels, sights, and stocks on the Russian action.
The Finns knew that they were liable to get into a war with Russia, figured they may as well have a gun that would shoot Russian ammo, they knew they would capture lots of it.
This rifle is regarded as the most accurate and best built of all the Mosin Nagants, and there were 19 million Mosin Nagants made. Only 155,000 M39s were built.

They are great guns- get them while you can. While Russian and satellite guns are around in the millions, and will likely be available at reasonable prices for the forseeable future, the Finns are already climbing. I got mine from WGA at www.gunsnammo.com and am very pleased. Most accurate of all my Mosins and one of my most accurate guns period.
