silver casing ,of course black ,the tip of the bullet looks like the hole in the end of a orange ,with deep rounded humps ,like no other hollow point ,except for the talon variants

What's the headstamp? There were some pure military loads, all hush-hush, made up for certain special operations units. Some of this found its way into civilian hands. If you have some of that, it is worth far more than standard Black Talon ammo. I have examples in both 9mm and .45 ACP with US military headstamps . . . and yes, I know it is legit and not something cobbled together for the suckers.

With the lacquer, these *could* have been made for the military, although all the specimens I have in my collection have military style (dated) headstamps. If you have a quantity, as a gamble, I'd give you $0.75 a round (+ shpg) for them, which is about what I've paid for my inventories of military loadings. If these should be some sort of prototype / field trial item, they are worth far more. If they are something from the civilian market, you are making out like a bandit.
