Remington 12B
This is the gallery special serial #85xxx. It has NICKLE receiver and buttplate, also pistol grip stock, Not straight stock. Can anyone tell me if this could be factory job? It appears to be original. I have seen a lot of 12B's but never like this. Not in Blue book or Krause. Probably goes 90+%. Is there a Rem collectors club out there I can contact? Thanx[8D]

I have a model 12-c with a serial # of 640068 is there a way to find the year of the gun through the serial # ? 0 -
troker, your gun was made in 1911. labo, yours was made in 1925. The Remington Society of America has a great website: www.RemingtonSociety.com. Remington Arms also has a great site, I believe it is www.remington.com. 0 -
Thank for the info. It was very helpfull. How did you did you come up with the results? 0 -
I have a list of the production by year and used that to come up with serial numbers by year. After about 1922 (I believe) there should be a date code on the barrel also to confirm my numbers. 0
