carry bevel treatment

springfield advertises that their loaded pistols are "carry bevel treated". What is this and do I want it?

  That means all the exterior sharp edges are beveled or smoothed away.
  Rounded, so to speak.If you carry or fire it a lot then it is something you will appreciate.Less cut fingers and clothing.

  smoothed or rounded so there are no sharp edges/corners, etc. to snag or otherwise hang the pistol up when your trying to draw it from concealed holster rig.
  
  If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!
