Swiss Vetterli? Questions....
I came across a rifle that I believe to be a vetterli, but need some help with it. Left side of the reciever is marked Waffenfabrik, then a Swiss cross, then BERN, then 84.<p>
It is a rimfire, has a loading gate on the side, probably 75% origional blue, with a little rust that looks like it will clean up. Perfect bore. What is it worth?, and is there a reasonable source for ammo, all I can find is $10 a round. Also I remember seeing a centerfore conversion, can anyone elaborate?
