Dixie Gun Works Union City, Tennessee 901-885-0440

All information is from my 1999 catalog (I need to get a new one)
pg 141 item gp1013 Tumbler, two notch , w/o stirrup, original $35.00
item mp0751 Tumbler Stirrup, original $4.00
item mp1021 Tumbler Stirrup Pivot Pin, original $3.00
I can't tell from the picture exactly what this part is but I may have an extra one. I broke the front hinge on my breechblock & bought a complete new one from Dixie about thirty years ago & somewhere I still have the broken one. (As I recall I only paid about Five dollars for the whole thing at that time.) If the tumbler goes on the breechblock & IF I can find it I would give it to you. Let me know where the part goes & I will look for it.0 -
I assume the tumbler to be the part in the lock that carries the hammer. If you can't find a tumbler, a broken shaft can be replaced. Let me know if you need "how-to" info. 0 -
I suspect it may be part of the assembly that holds the breachblock in. There is a pin at the left front of the breach that goes through the the breachblock & a part that it goes through is what I think the tumbler might be. If that is so I would not have an extra one. 0 -
I use this site for parts--very nice people to deal with:

"Those who want to take our money and gain power over us have discovered the magic formula: Get us envious or angry at others and we will surrender, in installments, not only our money but our freedom. The most successful dictators of the 20th century -- Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao -- all used this formula and now class warfare politicians here are doing the same." --Thomas Sowell0 -
I found one thanks. 0
