Good weapon, teach her to hit a pie plate at ten feet. Also, try Speer GOLD DOT. A little harder hitting.

I'm gonna be carrying the Kel-tec .380 as my all the time weapon or when I can't carry my 10mm.

Can't beat Keltec for quality, size, weight and price. I have two, a 9mm and traded in my .32 for the .380.

I had an opportunity to purchase two keltec p32's for $375. The owner was getting two new P3AT's. I really wish that I would have. Excellent pocket pistol. Just enough punch to make worth carry, compact enough not to make excuses to not carry it.

I've owned and carried, ( CCW ) a KelTec P 11 since 1996. Very happy with it, good value for the money.

Bought a P 32 1 1/2 years ago, had trouble after putting 200 rounds throught. Did a lot of work on it, with the free parts supplied by KelTec.

Finally had to cut off the hold-open tab, to make it reliable. My advice is to put at least 400 rounds throught your P 32, before you let your wife carry it as a self-defense piece.

PS, The new P 3AT's, dont have a hold open tab!

I've got 200 rounds through my P3AT. The more I shoot it, the smoother it gets. It is ammo sensitive and I continue to experiment with different brands/bullets to find something it loves. The .380 has a bite and after shooting 5 mags normally rubs my skin raw in the web of my hand, something I've never experienced with any other gun I own or have shot.

Rule # 1 in a gunfight. Have a gun. Kel Tech makes good guns. Had a P11 but traded it away, wish I still had it.

It's loaded with Winchester Silvertip's. Gun dealer said this is a very hot and devistating load for a .32.

I find the Winchester Silvertips work best in my Kel-Tec, but I wouldn't consider any 32 auto to be "very hot" or "devestating"--it's a practical "last resort" self-defense gun that just might save one's life in a very dangerous situation, nothing more.

Just don't let your wife be thinking she has some type of "ultimate self-defense weapon"--she needs to know that it will have extremely limited stopping power if she needs to use it.

I've had a P32 for a few years. I had a little trouble with it after a few hundred rounds. I sent it to Kel Tek and they replaced the frame, fast and free! Great customer service. At the moment It can't get through a mag without a stoppage --might just need a new spring. I'll start with that, and see if it can re-gain my trust.
Overall its a great little last resort.

Stuart, how do you like the Ti. Airlight? is it the 340Pd? I am looking for a used one right now. Would you recommend it?
    Thanks Kc

I have a P32 I got for CCW. I've had no problems at all. Feeds great, eats everything I feed it. Mine's quite fond of Hornadys. It's super light. When you carry it you'll forget you've got it. It's a pity I never shoot it anymore since I replaced it with a S&W Airweight .38.

If you have a P3AT, you almost HAVE TO GET a mag extension. I HIGHLY suggest getting a Bersa Thunder 380 mag extension. They are very easy to install, and only cost around $2. I bought 3 and replaced the factory ones. Now it feels more pointable and easier recoil control. I'm not sure as to weather or not they will fit the P32 though.
