Colt M1991A1 Commander

I am thinking about getting the Colt commander, with Parkarized finish. Has anyone had experience with these? Is $399.00 a good deal for a very good condition pistol?

  Yes. I have a 1991 and it is great. They are a no nonsense gun that will give you good dependabilty and decent accuracy. They have more accurate pistols, but you pay more and should you decide to tinker with yours later on down the road you have the entire gamit if .45 auto accessories to tickle your fancy. Good luck.

  You might find one just above $500 NIB, with a lifetime warranty.
  You will have a tough time getting one less than $400, though. You say Very Good condition. That is subjective, and broadly interpreted. For $400, I'd want a pretty new-looking gun. It should come with two Colt mags. Any extra mags, especially Wilson mags, would be nice.
