Firearms international corporation question.
Firearms international corporation
Washington D.C.
This is stamped into the butt of an all metal 22 rifle that a friend has. It is a single shot rifle.
It looks like a skeleton frame if that makes any scence.
In front of the trigger is a release that kind of looks like a trigger
that when pulled releases the barell to swing around for loading etc.
What might the model be so we can search into this?
I tried typing the name in for a search with no results.
Thanks.

Without a doubt the gun in question is one of the famed Bronco rifles which sold for $24.95 back in the early 1970's. This rifle was also marketed by the Garcia Corp. after FIE was absorbed by Garcia. The same basic long gun was also available in .22 Magnum @$26.50 and as a .410 shotgun @$26.95. Near the end of importation in 1978 there were a few combination .22/.410 guns imported but these are few and far between. Since these guns were cheap they tended to be heavily used (and often abused) so a new in the box example would be an interesting deversion but otherwise the Broncos have no collector appeal and little value on the resale firearms market. I hope this information helps you.
