S&W Mod. 66-1 Identification

I'd appreciate any help in identifying a Smith & Wesson Model 66-1. On the frame, just below the cylinder is stamped S D G F & P and just below stamped WILDLIFE The stampings are in perfect alignment and of even depth, and spacing.

  Just a guess, but it probably stands South Dakota Game, Fish, & Parks. Probably a Wildlife officers gun.
