why so expensive???
1891 Argentine Mauser bayonets. I've been looking for awhile. Can't find one at any gun show. There is one on sale here at GB for $125.00 that has been reposted repeatedly for the last year. I have a 10 year old Shotgun News which has them advertised on the back cover for $19.95.
Did the supply dry up so quickly that these are that highly desired?
I sure want one to complete a real clean full size rifle that I found in a pawn shop and got for a song. The rifle has all matching numbers on it. I know the bayonet wouldn't match the rifle.....but I just want one.
If I bid on/ bought the one listed here on GB.......I would be spending more on the bayonet than the rifle itself.
What gives????

I still can't understand why the rifles have become so high. I used to be able to find them at around a hundred bucks. Now I see them on auction over $300. They are great guns, but ammo hasn't gotten any more available, it just seems high to me.
Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.0
