colt 1991-A1 value!!

I recently saw a colt 1991-A1 stainless finish at a pawn shop, asking price $599.99.I was told that this gun sells for $800 brand new.The gun is in very good condition, would this be a good bargain or is this guy trying to make a killing?

  The Mfg.'s Suggested Retail is $800. Since this one is used, I'll let you be the judge, because the condition would determine a fair price. From the latest Blue Book: 100% $650, 98% $525, 95% $400. By this standard $599 would require the pistol to be in 99% condition.

  I paid $610 delivered, for a NIB. It depends on transfer costs, but I'd spend an extra $50 for a NIB with a lifetime warranty.
