As far as I know the Ruger mags (although probably not made by Ruger) usually have the Ruger crest/emblem on the base. They're probably some of the Mecgar or Promag versions that are floating around. I seem to recall the factory mags as having a rather thick baseplate as well rather than the thin stamped ones that the aftermarket mags have.

IF they don't have the crest or ruger name on base.. You got aftermarkets. 0 -
They could still be OEM, but not factory... MECGAR makes the mags for Ruger, but when MECGAR sells them through their own channels, they obviously can not be marked "RUGER".

Don't get all concerned. They are quite possibly FACTORY Ruger mags. Ruger didn't have their name or logo anywhere on the metal bottom 9mm mags. There was more than one type of factory Ruger pre-ban metal bottom mag. If you could send me an e-mail with a picture of the mags I could tell you for sure, but if that isn't an option, I can give you some guide lines. If the mag has 4 holes on the side (without marking at each hole) it is most likely a factory. If it has the 3 holes at the back with the 5, 10, and 15 next to the holes, it is most likely factory as well.
There are other ways to tell by the finish as well as the machine markings. If you could send a picture of them, I could be of more help.
