My son showed me .50AP in the Cabellas catalog that came in the mail yesterday. I did not think sale of 'new' AP ammo was legal, but I must be wrong.

My dad left me a can of 30 cal AP projectiles , and I have only tried them in a few loads over the years. Mostly I just held on to them.

I'm not curious now, I'm confused. One clear post would clear me up.

  Rifle AP is legal according to federal regs. Some states prohibit it.
  Pistol AP is not legal to sell commercially or import according to federal regs.
